SRINAGAR: Following a day-long closure due to landslides at Ramban, authorities on Friday allowed the one-way traffic on Srinagar Jammu highway.
The spokesman said that traffic movement has been restored on the highway, and only stranded vehicles shall be allowed towards Jammu from Srinagar.
Meanwhile, the Mughal road, Srinagar-Sonamarg, Gumri road remained closed continuously due to the accumulation of snow at various places.
The spokesman said commuters are advised not to travel during night hours and no movement of traffic shall be allowed from the opposite direction. “People are advised to undertake their journey only after confirming the status of the road,” the spokesman added.
