On no-confidence motion against deputy Mayor, he said, “We received his resignation letter today.”

Sheikh Imran’s father Sheikh Mushtaq confirmed that his son has sent the resignation letter. “The resignation letter has been received by the SMC Commissioner,” he said.

Sources said that some of the corporators, who moved no-confidence-motion against the mayor include, Sheikh Imran, Aaqib Renzu, Inayat Rather, Abdul Majeed Tantray, Ghulam Nabi, Wajahat and Sabia Irfan.
