SRINAGAR: After orders were issued for dismissal of a teacher from North Kashmir’s Kupwara district, J&K administration on Thursday, 30th April issued formal orders of dismissal against a Naib Tehsildar of Pulwama.

As per government order No.398-JK(GAD) of 2021 issued on 30.04.2021, the order reads,

“WHEREAS, the Lieutenant Governor is satisfied after considering the facts and circumstances of the case and on the basis of the information available that the activities of Mr. Nazir Ahmad Wani, Naib Tehsildar, Pulwama – II are such as to warrant his dismissal from service;

AND WHEREAS, the Lieutenant Governor is satisfied under sub-clause (c) of the proviso to clause (2) of Article 311 of the Constitution of India that in the interest of the security of the State, it is not expedient to hold an enquiry in the case of Mr. Nazir Ahmad Wani, Naib Tehsildar, Pulwama – II.

Accordingly, the Lieutenant Governor hereby dismisses Mr. Nazir Ahmad Wani, Naib Tehsildar, Pulwama-II from service, with immediate effect.
