Two students of Subhas Chandra Bose Model High School, Balgarden Batamaloo are feared dead as they drowned while swimmming in city outskirts on Saturday.
Police sources said that three students from Chattabal area of Srinagar city early Saturay left for their school but straightaway went to Narbal in the outskirts of the city for swimming.
The students have been identified as Shairq Ahmad Chat, Anwar Nazir and Syed Irfan Rahman.
“The students had neither informed their parents nor were school authorities aware of their whereabouts,” the sources said.
They added that two students are feared dead while one of them has been rescued.
“One has been rescued who is unconcious and has been shifted to hospital,” they further said.
