SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-e- Sharie Shian President Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi on Friday criticised what he described as rumours being spread under the influence of “global imperial arrogance”, saying such narratives ignore what he called an undeniable political reality.
Addressing the Friday congregation at Markazi Imam Bargha in Budgam, Aga Hassan said Western powers were confronting Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, whom he described as a symbol of political steadfastness and strategic awareness.
Aga Hassan said the Iranian Supreme Leader was not merely a symbolic figure but a leader with a clear, organised and long-term political vision opposed to what he termed the imperial system.
He said Khamenei’s leadership, in his view, was grounded in practical assessments rather than emotional slogans, and drew strength from what he described as a balance of power, public support and institutional stability.
Aga Hassan added that despite sustained pressure, sanctions and what he called psychological warfare, Khamenei had continued to uphold state sovereignty as a central principle.
