According to police spokesman, Qasim Khatana age about 65 years, son of Chand Khatana resident of Thanda Pani, Rajouri while grazing his cattle at Hang Park Forests, Ganderbal, in the jurisdiction of police station Sonamarg, slipped and fell down on a stone, resulting in his on spot death. Body is lying in Public Health Centre Sonamarg for further formalities. Police inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC have been initiated in this regard.
While in other incident, Police Station Sogam, Kupwara received an information that one Shamsusdin Peer age about 50 years son of Mohammad Maqbool resident of Gangbugh and employee of PHE department was found dead near water reservoir Gangbugh. Police inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC have been initiated in this regard.
