SRINAGAR: The Congress high command has called a crucial meeting ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, following the party’s setback in the recent Lok Sabha polls, Daily Excelsior reported
JKPCC chief Vikar Rasool Wani, along with senior leaders including Raman Bhalla and Ch Lal Singh, has been summoned to Delhi on June 27.
The meeting aims to devise a fresh strategy and address internal issues, amidst concerns over party unity and electoral performance.
Despite an increase in vote share, Congress failed to secure any seats in J&K, prompting a reassessment and focus on preparing for the upcoming state polls.
