In a Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting at Police Headquarters (PHQ) yesterday, Jammu and Kashmir Police promoted 221 police officers throughout JK.
While chairing the meeting, Director General of Police (DGP) K Rajendra said JKP has been making all out efforts to provide promotion avenues to its personnel in all ranks.
Besides 209 ASIs promoted as Sub-Inspectors (SIs), 10 Inspectors, one Deputy Superintendent and one Sub-Inspector have been promoted.
