The Finance Department has released an amount of Rs 566.00 crore from various treasuries of the State on Sep 22-23, 2015.
“All the payments for which the bills/cheques were received at the treasuries upto September 23 were paid particularly in respect of salaries, wages, contractors/firms, land compensation, local bodies as also all such payments relating to general public and the employees,” the Finance Department said in a statement.
“In order to ensure that the payments are made smoothly at the treasuries without any inconvenience to the general public, the Director General, Accounts & Treasuries, on the instructions of Finance Minister, Dr Haseeb Drabu visited all the treasuries of district Srinagar personally today.”
