Ahead of Govt Formation 1 IAS, 4 KAS officers Transferred

Days ahead of the government formation in J&K, the Governor N N Vohra administration Saturday transferred one IAS and four KAS officers.

A GAD order no.264-GAD of 2016, dated:26-03-2016 read that in the interest of administration, the following transfers and postings are hereby ordered with immediate effect:-

1. Bashir Ahmad Bhat, IAS:05, Director, Finance and ex-officio Special Secretary to the Government, Finance Department, is transferred and posted as Registrar, Cooperative Societies, J&K.
2. Mohammad Saleem Shisghar, KAS, Special Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department, is transferred and posted as Director, Finance and ex-officio Special Secretary to the Government, Finance Department.

• Zubair Ahmad, KAS, Member, J&K Services Selection Board, under orders of transfer as Director, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, Kashmir, shall continue in his present place of posting.

1. Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, KAS, Registrar, Cooperative Societies, J&K, is transferred and posted as Director, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, Kashmir.
2. Khalid Jehangir, KAS, Secretary to the Leader of the Opposition, Rajya Sabha, under orders of transfer as Deputy Labour Commissioner, New Delhi, is now posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Home Department.
