A complete shutdown is being observed in south Kashmir’s Tral town ahead of the government of India’s special representative for Kashmir Dineshwar Sharma’s visit in the town on Thursday, reports said.

All Shops, business establishments, and educational institutions are closed in the town, they said.

Army men were doing rounds in the area while choppers were also pressed into service to keep a watch, reports said.

Official sources said that the heavy deployment of army, SOG, CRPF, and police has been put in place in Tral town ahead of Dineshwar Sharma’s visit.

Government of India’s special representative for Kashmir Dineshwar Sharma is scheduled to visit Tral, which is considered as “sensitive” by the forces agencies.
