Authorities lifted the restrictions on the movement of the Chairman of Hurriyat Conference (M) Mirwaiz Umer Farooq today.
The government forces were withdrawn from the Nigeen residence of Mirwaiz today, sources said.
Mirwaiz is scheduled to address the religious gathering at Naqashband Sahib at Khawaja Bazar today after zuhar (afternoon) prayers.
Thousands of people are scheduled to assemble at Khanqah- i-Naqshbandiya to offer “Khoje-e-Digar”, a 400 – year- old tradition. (Kashmir Wire)
