Ahead of his proposed protest march, Police on Monday early morning shifted JKLF chairman, Mohammad Yasin Malik to Police station Kotibagh.

Malik and all other prominent separatist leaders were put under house arrest last Friday, after the killing of a youth Farhat Ahmad Dar, in police firing at Naidkhai, Bandipora.

JKLF is organising a protest march against the killing of Farhat at Lal Chowk in the afternoon.

“The police early morning shifted Malik to police station, but our protest march program is stand and we will proceed towards Lal Chowk at 2 PM,” a JKLF spokesman told Kashmir Life.
