Two member Amnesty International team Thursday called on Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Mir Saifullah here.
According to a government press release the team comprising Divya Iyer and Christine Mehta, enquired about the measures put in place by the State Government for upholding human rights in the State and laws covering such issues.
Saifullah informed the AI team about Government’s commitment towards upholding and protecting human rights reiterating that the State has zero tolerance policy against any such reported violation.
