AIIMS Trauma Centre Cancels All Leave Amid Emergency Alert

   

SRINAGAR: In view of the impending emergency situation and on the instructions of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Centre (JPNA), has cancelled all leave for its officers and staff until further notice.

The directive, issued by Administrative Officer Ankit Kumar on Friday, states that no leave of any kind—including sanctioned leave—will be granted to any officers or officials, whether regular or outsourced, except on medical grounds.

“In pursuance of Office Order No. Z.28015/19/2019-Estt.I dated 9th May, 2025… it has been decided that no leave of any kind including station leave will be granted to any Officers/Officials regular or outsource except on medical grounds, till further orders,” the order reads.

Officers and officials who are currently on leave have been directed to immediately resume their duties, and previously sanctioned leave stands cancelled.

All controlling officers have been asked to issue strict instructions to their subordinates to ensure full compliance with the directive.
