According to AIP Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi, senior party leader and MLA Langate Sheikh Khursheed has personally intervened in the matter, holding discussions with the Transport Minister. The Minister reportedly assured that adequate transport arrangements have been made to facilitate the return of stranded passengers to the Valley.

“Sheikh Khursheed further emphasised that AIP is fully committed to standing by the students and daily commuters during this difficult time,” Inam said in a statement issued Saturday.

“If anyone still faces any inconvenience, they are encouraged to reach out for help. We have made provisions to ensure that no one is left without assistance,” Khursheed stated.

The party has also made available emergency helpline numbers for stranded individuals in need of transport coordination or temporary accommodation support in Jammu. Those requiring help may contact: 7006755546 or 9103094993.

The initiative comes in the wake of heightened border tensions, travel disruptions, and ongoing suspension of civil aviation services in the region, which have collectively impacted mobility.
