AJKSA Delegation Meets Iranian Ambassador in New Delhi, Conveys Condolences and Expresses Solidarity

   

SRINAGAR: A delegation of the All Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association (AJKSA), led by its President Molvi Imran Ansari, visited the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in New Delhi and met Ambassador HE Mohammad Fathali.

A delegation of the All Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association (AJKSA), led by President Molvi Imran Ansari, visited the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in New Delhi and met Ambassador HE Mohammad Fathali. The delegation also met Abdul Majid Hakeem Ilahi, representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader in India, conveying condolences over recent losses and expressing solidarity on April 15, 2026.

The delegation also held a meeting with Abdul Majid Hakeem Ilahi, representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader in India.

During the visit, the delegation conveyed condolences over the loss of lives in recent incidents in Iran and paid tribute to those killed, including children in an attack on Shajareh Tayyebeh Girls Elementary School in Minab. Prayers and Surah Al-Fatiha were offered for the departed souls.

Speaking on the occasion, Molvi Imran Ansari said the people of Jammu and Kashmir share a deep emotional and spiritual bond with the Islamic Republic of Iran and its leadership. He said Iran’s resilience and commitment to justice continue to inspire people in the region and expressed solidarity on behalf of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

He also stated that Kashmiris have consistently supported other affected communities, including Palestine, and will continue to extend moral and humanitarian support wherever required.

The Iranian Ambassador, Mohammad Fathali, thanked the delegation and the people of Kashmir for their support and contributions, stating that such gestures are deeply valued. He also acknowledged assistance provided in the form of medical aid, including essential medicine shipments during difficult times in Iran.

The delegation included AJKSA Vice President Molvi Irfan Ansari, spokesperson Sheikh Zakiri, and spokesperson Syed Taib Rizvi.
