SRINAGAR: Kota-based ALLEN Career Institute has opened a major centre in Srinagar’s Rajbagh. With this, the number of ALLEN campuses in Srinagar reached three. It earlier runs a centre each at Naseembagh and Nowgam.
Flanked by President Kashmir Private Schools Association (PSA), GN War, Director Education, Dr Tasaduq Hussain Mir threw the new facility open on Sunday. Later he told the gathering that his directorate will extend all the help that the academic and competition centres would require and seek.
In his speech, Var gave a bird’s eye view of competitive education and highlighted the challenges that these institutions face in Kashmir. He hoped the policymakers will understand the importance of institutions and continue the handholding so that the new generation is able to perform better in competitions.
A senior ALLEN executive also spoke to the gathering.
ALLEN has been seeking partners in expanding its base for the last three decades. In the Rajbagh case, it has picked, Lateef Masudi, a major coaching centre promoter as its partner. Masudi has been working in the coaching sector for a long time. “It has been a dream for me to associate myself with ALLEN,” Masudi said. “I have been working with Kashmir Institute of Excellence since 2013 and we were keen to go national.”
Mir even requested the ALLEN to open similar centres in all districts.
