Almost 99 percent students appeared in the Matriculation examination which began in Kashmir valley today.
According to Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) authorities, out of 56623 students 56219 students appeared in the examination.
Giving details, the BOSE authorities said that in Anantnag 98.64 percent students appeared in the examination. Similarly in Budgam 99 percent, in Bandipora 98.27 percent, in Baramulla 98.57 percent, in Ganderbal 99 percent, in Kulgam 98.40 percent, in Kupwara 99 percent, in Pulwama 99 percent, in Shopian 98 percent and in Srinagar 99.88 percent appeared in the examination.
