The Jammu and Kashmir government on Saturday appointed T Namgyal as new Inspector General of Police, Traffic, replacing Alok Kumar.
According to Government Order No.2-Home of 2020,T Namgyal, IPS (JK:1995), awaiting orders of posting, is posted as IGP (Traffic), Jammu and Kashmir, vice Alok Kumar.
“Alok Kumar, IPS (JK-1997), IGP (Traffic), Jammu and Kashmir is transferred and posted as IGP, (CIV) PHQ against an available vacancy,” read an order issued today.
