SRINAGAR: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari has condemned recent attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, labelling them as “alarming” and a threat to the region’s fragile peace. The attacks in Gagangeer, Ganderbal, and Botapather, Gulmarg, he said, could destabilise the hard-won calm in the region.
Bukhari expressed sorrow over the loss of lives in the Botapather attack.
“These incidents threaten Jammu and Kashmir’s stability,” Bukhari said, urging an end to violence. He called on all stakeholders to act together to protect peace, insisting that unity is essential to combat terrorism. Political differences, he added, should not interfere with efforts to maintain stability, and he appealed to political figures and security agencies to collaborate closely.
