SRINAGAR: Amar Singh College, Srinagar, has clarified that classes will continue as scheduled on Thursday after a fake notification claiming suspension of classwork was circulated on social media.
In an official notice dated October 28, the college administration termed the notification “fake and unauthorised” and advised students not to believe, share or circulate the misleading information.
The notice stated that there would be no suspension of classwork and all classes would continue according to the regular schedule on October 29.
The administration directed students to rely exclusively on official notifications issued through the college’s authorised communication channels.
It also warned that strict legal action would be taken against those responsible for creating or circulating misleading notices.
