J&K Government has imposed section 144 CrPC along Srinagar-Jammu in Kathua district.
An official spokesperson said this evening that district Magistrate, Kathua, Ramesh Kumar has imposed section 144 CrPC prohibiting any sort of public interference/agitation/public gathering, in order to ensure smooth movement of traffic on the Highway besides ensuring that no inconvenience is caused to the people undertaking Amarnath Yatra on Highway from Lakhanpur to Londi Morh (Kootah) in district Kathua.
The order shall remain in force till Amarnath yatra-2016 concludes.
