Former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir and National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah on Wednesday said: “Amarnath yatra is a symbol of the Kashmir that some people are determined to destroy.”
Taking to his widely followed twitter handle Omar wrote: “Good to see my colleagues lead by Devender Singh Rana upholding the pluralistic traditions of @JKNC_ The Amarnath Yatra is a symbol of the Kashmir that some people are determined to destroy.”
Earlier, NC Provincial President Devender Singh Rana along with senior leaders of National Conference attended the flagging off ceremony of Amarnath Ji Yatra in Jammu today. Rana in a tweet said: “Interacted with devotees and prayed for peace, amity and prosperity in the State.”
