The Banyan Impact Fellowship by the American India Foundation (AIF) is an interdisciplinary learning initiative. It engages young professionals from India and the U.S., immersing them in service with development organizations in India. By fostering collaboration and enhancing capacity, fellows and local communities share knowledge and skills to drive projects promoting social and economic development. The programme provides a profound understanding of grassroots development and inclusive leadership.

In addition to The Banyan Impact Fellowship Programme, AIF offers fellows an extra avenue for professional development that is The Atlas Corps Virtual Leadership Institute (VLI). Formed through a partnership with Atlas Corps in 2021, this extension aligns with AIF’s mission to bolster US-India objectives by broadening the organization’s commitment to nurturing the leadership skills of future global leaders.

The application process is completely online through the official website and the deadline is February 20, 2024. The programme starts from October 1, 2024 to July 31, 2025.
