Authorities on Thursday have ordered the closure of all schools located near the International Border in Jammu in view of cross-border firing.
Reports quoting officials said that all schools located within five kilometres from the border will remain closed on Thursday.
“As a precautionary measure, some educational institutions located near the border LoC have been closed on Thursday, ” said an official.
Pertinent to mention, a BSF constable was killed in cross-border firing in R S Pura, Jammu and Kashmir.
