Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who is on a two-day visit to the Kashmir on Wednesday held a security meeting at Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) Srinagar.

Soon after his arrival here, the Home minister chaired a high-level meeting of civil administration officials and top bosses of various security agencies in the state, said the reports.

Reports said that Home Minister also review security arrangements for upcoming Amarnath yatra.

Governor Malik, his advisor K Vijay Kumar, Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba, Chief Secretary B V R Subrahmanyam, Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Ranbir Singh, DGP Dilbagh Singh, divisional commissioner Kashmir and divisional commissioner Jammu were present in the meeting, they said.

Reports added that the Home Minister is also scheduled to visit Holy Cave of Amarnath in south Kashmir.
