SRINAGAR: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will hold a high-level meeting in New Delhi on Thursday to review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Wednesday.
According to official sources, the meeting will be attended by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, senior officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs, top officers of paramilitary forces and intelligence agencies, as well as senior officers from the civil and police administration of the Union Territory.
The discussions are expected to focus on the prevailing security scenario, counter-terrorism measures, border management, and the overall law and order situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
Senior officers will brief the Home Minister on ongoing counter-terror operations, border management, and steps taken during the winter months to prevent infiltration across the Line of Control and the International Border. (KNC)
