Speaking at a roadshow in Udaipur, Rajasthan, Shah referred to statements made by Rahul Gandhi about Jammu and Kashmir. He asserted that the situation in the Union Territory was normal and that nobody dared to provoke violence.

“Previously, (People’s Democratic Party chief) Mehbooba Mufti and (Congress leader) Rahul baba (Gandhi) predicted a bloodbath in Kashmir after Article 370’s removal.”

Taking further potshots, Shah said, “Rahul baba, it has been five years since the abrogation of Article 370. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, there is no threat of violence in the region.”

Shah further declared that the Congress would face defeat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and expressed confidence in the BJP winning all 25 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

Amit Shah conducted the roadshow in Udaipur in support of BJP candidate Mannalal Rawat, with Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also joining the event.
