This delay comes amidst a flurry of political engagements and campaigns in the region. While the reason for the postponement was not immediately disclosed, it coincides with heightened political activity in the area.

Instead of Shah’s visit, a gathering is now slated for April 15 in Basohli, Kathua.

This event will primarily focus on discussions pertinent to the Udhampur parliamentary constituency, currently represented by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is still set to address a rally in Udhampur on April 12, further energizing political enthusiasts and party supporters.
