SRINAGAR: Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has revealed that he sustained a knee injury after slipping and falling during the shooting of Kaun Banega Crorepati 18.
Bachchan disclosed the injury during Wednesday’s episode of the television quiz show, where he delivered his opening monologue while seated instead of standing at the centre of the stage as he usually does.
Explaining the change, Bachchan said he had slipped during the previous day’s shoot and injured his knee. He said the injury was causing him some difficulty in standing, prompting him to deliver the monologue from his seat.
The actor, however, said the injury was not serious and assured viewers that he would recover soon.
Bachchan has been hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati, one of India’s longest-running television quiz shows, across multiple seasons.
