SRINAGAR: Drugs and ammunition were recovered during a search operation in the Keran area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Quoting sources, Kashmir Scroll reported that on Monday evening search operation was carried out by Kupwara police along with 06 RR near Ziyarat Sharief Keran located on the banks of river Kishan Ganga under jurisdiction of police station Keran.
“During search operation recoveries were made that include Ak 56 Rifle 01 No, Ak 56 Magazine 01 and 10 packets of Brown Sugar like Substance. A case FIR No. 01/2024 under relevant sections of law has been registered while further investigation has been taken up,” they said.
