Huriyat Conference (G) while commenting on the Amnesty International’s report on human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir said it stands as an eye-opener for world community and India.

Amnesty while reporting facts about uprising in 2016, has testified our stand that administration has virtually turned state into a police garrison and constitution suspended, a spokesperson of Hurriyat (G) said in a statement issued here. “Under the draconian laws, life and honour of civilians are insecure & forces have made the civilian’s life grim.”

Terming India is an “autocratic state”, he said that India stands exposed by the reports revealed by Amnesty. “Its claims for being a great democracy are mere hoax and fraud and in its appeal to UNO and other international forums urged to use their influence and take practical steps to save precious human lives in disputed territory.”
