The Auqaf has expressed hope that authorities will not create any obstacles and will facilitate the smooth conduct of Eid prayers at Eidgah, respecting the religious sentiments of the people. It strongly cautioned against any attempt to disallow the prayers, citing the disruptions witnessed on Shab-e-Qadr and Jumat-ul-Vida, which had caused widespread resentment. The organisation stressed that such actions should not be repeated on this sacred occasion.

In preparation for the prayers, Anjuman Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq personally visited Eidgah Srinagar to assess the arrangements and ground conditions. He expressed satisfaction that the Eid congregation could be held smoothly with the prevailing dry weather.

The Anjuman has also called upon the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board to ensure all necessary arrangements for the occasion. It has appealed to people to attend in large numbers while maintaining discipline and decorum. Worshippers have been requested to bring their own prayer mats. In case of inclement weather, the prayers will be held at the Jama Masjid Srinagar.
