After a soldier was arrested at Srinagar airport with two live grenades on Monday, another soldier was held on Tuesday after a live bullet was recovered from his baggage.
Live cartridge of INSAS rifle was recovered from the soldier during X ray scanning at Airport when he was scheduled to board Indigo 559 flight to Mumbai, security officials at the airport confirmed.
He was held immediately and then handed over to Army and inquiry has been initiated in the matter, authorities said.
Meanwhile, sources said Army core commander has taken serious note in the incident of Monday in which two live grenades were recovered.
At least three Major rank army officers are allegedly under suspicion, sources said.
Pertinently, a live cartridge of an AK-47 rifle was seized from a pilgrim who was en route the Vaishno Devi shrine on Monday.
