SRINAGAR: On Thursday, Jammu and Kashmir lost another doctor to Covid19.
Identified as Dr Inderjyot, he was a senior physician working with the Hospitality and Protocol Department. He was currently posted at Kashmir House at Chandigarh as Liaison Officer. He was around 52.
Dr Inderjyot was my physician when I was Chief Minister. Subsequently he was posted to Chandigarh as a liaison officer where he helped scores of people who were visiting PGI for treatment. Reports said that his family had contracted Covid19. While his wife fully recovered from the viral disease, he fell to the infection on Thursday.
Omar Abdullah broke the news on his Twitter handle.

Son of Dr Jagdesh Singh, Dr Inderjyot was living at Rawlpora in Srinagar. His wife is also a medico.
