Another “unidentified” suspected militant has died in a gunfight with forces on Friday in Waderbala village of Handwara, taking the toll to seven in three different encounters in past 24 hours in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
The gunfight was going on in Waderbala since yesterday afternoon.
“One unidentified militant has been killed. A search operation is going on, however, the exchange of gunfire has stopped,”
