SRINAGAR: Apni Party chief Altaf Bukhari along with other party leaders on Wednesday urged the Centre to restore the statehood of Jammu and Kashmir and to promptly conduct assembly, panchayat, and ULB polls without further delay.

Altaf Bukhari, while addressing the party leaders and workers at the party headquarters in Srinagar said, ” With parliamentary elections looming and assembly elections expected in the near future, we must engage with the people to ensure they are well-informed about the party’s clear agenda and policies. It’s essential for people to know that Apni Party is committed to serving them and is the only party capable of bringing positive change to Jammu and Kashmir.”

Bukhari emphasised, “It is your responsibility to inform people that Apni Party is dedicated to striving for lasting peace, sustainable prosperity, and equitable development across Jammu and Kashmir.”

During the meeting, the leaders thoroughly discussed the prevailing political situation and deemed it imperative to hold assembly, panchayat, and ULB polls as scheduled. They also urged the Centre to restore statehood to Jammu and Kashmir at the earliest.
