SRINAGAR: United Nations (UN) is offering internships for media professionals under its flagship programme called Reham al-Farra Memorial Journalism Fellowship (RAF) for the year 2024.

Working journalists of age 22-35, from developing countries and countries with economies in transition to cover the United Nations are eligible to apply. Journalists must be well-versed in the English language.

The eligible candidates need to submit Academic transcripts, a Motivation letter, Proof of work, and Employment details.

The internship duration will be for three weeks between September and October at the UN Headquarters in New York. All accommodation, travel, and other expenses will be covered during this duration.

Selected fellows will get a chance to attend special briefings, interview senior officials, and exchange ideas with colleagues worldwide. The programme also arranges visits to various news organizations, such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and ProPublica.
