SRINAGAR: PRS Legislative Research, an Indian non-profit organization, invites applications for the Legislative Assistants to Members of Parliament (LAMP) Fellowship for the 2024-25 term. Submission of online applications is due by December 23, 2023.
This exclusive programme is tailored for bachelor’s degree holders of any discipline, offering hands-on experience in the intricacies of law-making and public policy. The applicants must have Indian citizenship.
The duration of the fellowship programme is 10-11 months. The fellowship will provide direct engagement with a Member of Parliament for practical learning. Candidates will also get a monthly stipend: Rs 23,000
Applicants should be 25 years or below (born on or after June 1, 1998) to be eligible for the fellowship. The documents required for the application include Academic certificates, mark sheets, and diplomas, 500-word essay justifying candidature for the LAMP fellowship, 500-word essay analyzing any issue and its policy implications and Details of work experience, internships, or volunteer work (if applicable).
