Condemning the ‘unparliamentary and unethical approach’ of health minister of Mufti led coalition government, Choudhary Lal Singh, Society of Dental Surgeons, J&K (SDSJK) expressed their anguish in a meeting chaired by Dr Imtiyaz Banday.
While referring to the misbehaviour of minister with Dr Gurmeet Kour (Registrar, Psychiatry), it was stressed in the meeting that no constitution or any rule gives the privilege to a minister or any higher authority to humiliate or disrespect his subordinates for unwarranted issues.
“Doctors are already overburdened across the state and are working under stressful conditions and risking their safety for no fault of theirs.Such an approach of the highest chair towards doctors will only discourage them by bringing their morale down thereby effecting the patient care at large,” Dr Banday said in the meeting
