The civil Secretariat Jammu presents a different look on Monday morning. With heavy security around, arrangements are being finalized to receive first women chief minister of the state, Ms Mehbooba Mufti.
As Ms Mehbooba was sworn-in as first woman Chief Minister, the secretariat is full of life with men all around. Top police officers are monitoring the situation in the Secretariat to finalize the arrangements of the guard of honour ceremony.
The building is out of bounds for the civilians and more so, the employees too were not allowed to bring in their vehicles.
The parking lot of administrative secretaries is also lying vacant as they are participating in the oath taking ceremony.
The rooms of former ministers have been opened and intense process of cleaning is on. The name plates of advisors have been removed and till now only board of Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister has restored its place.
Sources say Ms Mehbooba will have first meeting with council of ministers and then she is expected to meet administrative secretaries.
General Administration Department is waiting for names to issue the order of council of ministers.
