SRINAGAR: Kashmir’s promising fast bowler Aquib Nabi has been named in the Delhi Capitals squad for today’s match, marking another notable moment for Jammu and Kashmir cricket.

Nabi produced a remarkable domestic season, taking 60 wickets in just 10 Ranji Trophy matches for Jammu Kashmir, a performance that earned him a high-profile Rs 8.40 crore contract from Delhi Capitals at the 2026 IPL auction.
Despite strong expectations that his recent form and impressive performances would secure him a place in the playing XI, he was not selected for Delhi Capitals’ opening match against Lucknow Super Giants.
