SRINAGAR: Arco United FC secured a 1–0 victory against Aqua Avengers Kashmir FC in the eleventh match of the Khyber Cement Kashmir Super League, played at the Synthetic Turf TRC Ground, Srinagar. The win earned Arco United three points in the league.
The match, held in front of a packed stadium, was a high-octane affair that kept spectators enthralled from start to finish. The decisive goal came in the first half through a composed finish by Ikhlaq Fayaz, who was later named Player of the Match. His strike stood as the match-winner in what was otherwise a closely contested game dominated by strong midfield duels and robust defensive play.
The encounter, powered by Athwas Hyundai and supported by the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, featured several moments of brilliance and was lauded as one of the tournament’s standout fixtures. Tajamul received the Khyber Cement Game Changer Award, Sahil Khurshid claimed the Athwas Golden Moment Award, and Zubair Akhoon was honoured with the Events Emporio X Factor Excellence Award.
