The armies of India and Pakistan on Monday exchanged fire along the Line of Control in Nowshehra Sector of Rajouri district, an official said.
An official said the Pakistan troopers targeted army posts along Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector today at 8:15 am today.
“Pakistan violated ceasefire in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district today at about 8.15 am by resorting to unprovoked shelling with mortars and firing of small arms. The Indian army responded to the fire strongly,” he said.
However, he said that there was no loss of life or injury to anyone in the firing.
