Indian and Pakistani troops on Thursday indulged in fresh firing along LOC in Hajipeer sector of Uri in north Kashmir’s  district Baramulla district.

Sources said that Pakistani army on Thursday morning resorted to “heavy shelling” on Indian army posts, in Uri sector. As of now, no casualties or loss of property have been reported.

They said that firing is still going on from both the sides.

They said the movement of people in Churanda, Batgrah, Tilwari, Salikote, Hathlanga and Sohra areas of Uri has been stopped.

Earlier on Monday, at least four civilians were injured when Pakistani troops resorted to “heavy shelling” in Churunda Silikote area of Hajipeer Sector of Uri.
