SRINAGAR: Security forces recovered arms and ammunition during a cordon and search operation (CASO) in the Amrohi area of Karnah, north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, on Monday.
A senior police officer said that the Army and Police conducted the operation behind a food store building, leading to the recovery of arms and ammunition.
The seized items include two AK-47 rifles, two AK magazines, and 12 rounds of ammunition, the officer said.
Meanwhile, investigations are underway, and further details are awaited. (JKNS)
