SRINAGAR: Police in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district recovered four loaded magazines and loose live rounds from a pond, media reports said.
The ammunition was recovered during the cleaning drive of a roadside pond in Jakh village along the Jammu-Pathankot highway. Senior police officers reached the spot and seized the ammunition.
Reports suggest that the rusted condition of the magazines and bullets indicates that they were dumped in the pond a considerable time ago.
