SRINAGAR: Security forces have recovered arms and ammunition from a government school in the Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, officials said.
An official said that during a joint operation conducted by the police, 42 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), and 130 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), arms and ammunition were recovered from the Government Primary School, Larmooh.
He said that the recovered items include a grenade, an Under-Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL), an electric detonator, a non-electric detonator, 10 bullets, and a pistol magazine.
“Further investigation in this regard is ongoing,” the official said. (KNO)
