SRINAGAR: Police and army on Saturday recovered arms and ammunition from a bag lying close to a cave in the Mendhar area of Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Police and army launched an operation based on a specific input and found a bag lying in the area near a natural cave,” they said.
Among others, the joint team recovered 9mm Pistol with nine bullets, 159 Ak-47 rounds, one pouch besides a Khan-dress, a black trouser, a pink water proof suit and a bag. (GNS)
